Quake64: Quake on the Commodore 64? In a Very Retro Kind of Way

Kweepa is taking on a wildly ambitious demake: Quake is being reimagined for the Commodore 64 as Quake64. It would complete a trilogy of id Software ports on the machine, but only by making some serious sacrifices to satisfy the C64’s famously tight hardware limits. Don’t expect the original’s visuals to survive the trip, though it will still deliver a true 3D wireframe.
